CIA Social Control Through Sex, Drugs and Rock ‘n Roll

It’s more than just an urban legend now, the story of how the CIA created the “Hippie Movement”, and introduced the counter-culture via the Laurel Canyon scene in Los Angeles.

Links with with the underworld of organized crime and the mob, this is about well-established channels involving drug dealing and distribution, murder, prostitution, child pornography, snuff movies and black magic – all part of a system of control and manipulation of high-profile personalities – a system which still thrives to this day…

A surprising number of rock and roll stars of the 60s came from military and military intelligence families.

For example, the father of the Doors Jim Morrison was the chief naval officer involved in the manufactured Gulf of Tonkin Incident that led to the Vietnam War.

And then the artists started dying like flies: Jim Morrison, Jim Hendrix, Janis Joplin and many others.

As for LSD, the military and the CIA had been playing with it extensively since the 1950s. Then they unleashed their supply on the youth culture with a well orchestrated promotional media campaign worthy of Madison Avenue via agents like federally-funded Harvard Professor Timothy Leary and former (?) Army Intelligence officer and crypto-fascist Stewart Brand (“Mr Whole Earth.”)

It’s literally true that the roots of the drug culture and rock and roll are in the Pentagon and Langley.

Why did they do it?

To disrupt the anti-war campaign.

As any peace activist active in the early pre-LSD 60s will tell you, the introduction of hallucinogens shattered the energetic and broad based Bay Area peace movement. The Pentagon boys needed bodies and they didn’t want an effective peace movement to get in their way of getting them.

If you attribute the murders of JFK, RFK and Martin Luther King to their opposition to a US war in Vietnam (and there is good reason to), then a little cultural monkey-wrenching is lightweight stuff in comparison…

    • And back to Compton CA to begin West coast gangster Rap/crack cocaine/CIA/Gary Webb. Backing u to the ’60′s again the complete moral take down was done in the summer of ‘love’ 1967. Welcome to overt Satanism.

  1. “The Pentagon boys needed bodies and they didn’t want an effective peace movement to get in their way of getting them.”………Disagree, more likely related to a “fork in the road” regarding an “archaic revival”.

  2. This is the more clever side of problem-reaction-solution methodology. Here is a more current example: I hear a lot of people saying, “isn’t great that certain states are legalizing pot” for instance. “Great” in the sense that such a law had no business existing in the first place? Sure. But sometimes PRS is all about timing. Canabis (heirloom stuff, not these souped-up, genetic monster strains they’ve been peddling the past 40 years) in the hands of a conscious being, is probably a useful tool. But that’s not what we have here. Instead it will be used by millions of tortured souls to make this prison more livable, like alcohol was used on the indigenous Americans. This goes for anything we use to try to catch a glimpse of how we once naturally were… pot, shrooms, opiates, sex, even comfort foods.

This is part of their ego trap, the notion that ascension can be an individual experience. Notice in the ’60′s how they didn’t even have the balls to try to make it an individual experience. Everything was very communal in emphasis, so it would have the most natural vibe to it. They knew then that there was still much programming to be done, before the human was ready to go off alone and try to trip out, ego masturbation if you will pardon the analogy. I think that one could have the purest pineal gland on the planet and a soul to match, but if the vibration of the planet is wrong, there will be no “ascension.” This is the ploy of most new-age movements. They say this is possible for the individual, even showing you the keys to the keep, so to speak. What they fail to explain is that until the collective human organism is substantially free, then Gaia will resonate accordingly. No ascension. The Borg really don’t care how “ascended” you feel as long as you leave them alone to destroy Gaia. They will eventually have you anyway once the planet is fully engulfed

Our goal needs to be to free the entire organism, one cell at a time. To take the gift we have received and to lovingly and patiently pass it on; while at the same time (and seemingly opposite in nature), to vigorisly oppose, resist, and if necessary, confront and destroy evil in all of its forms. Then we will see a compounding push/pull affect with human organism and Mother Earth like we have never seen before… the “awakening” that we all claim that we want.

          • * food for thought…very compelling …deep…need some time to ponder your posit…lots of meat on this bone (apologies to Vegans-just a figure of speech-lol)…cheers to you & yours…see ya next year

    • Then we will see a compounding push/pull affect with human organism and Mother Earth like we have never seen before… the “awakening” that we all claim that we want. – Nicely said, Scooter!
Seems Gaia always finds her balance eventually – are we ready for the shifting of these scales????

      • Thank you Heather! Your question is at the crux of the matter. Does Gaia shift without us? Can Gaia shift without us? I’m suggesting that the scales do not shift unless we shift them. So I am inclined to rephrase your question, “are We ready to shift the scales?”

        • Will Gaia shift without us? Maybe… does that mean we get left behind? Are we the force she needs to shift or will she “pull the plug” on this? I still get caught there. So, I would say we all need to lean into the shift with all we have and then no matter what… we have assisted regardless of the outcome to us in this experience. We owe that to her. Whether or not we come out on the other end and continue these lessons with her. …. Gaia has given so much in order for us to learn this lesson of mutual existence… respect. Does she walk out of our classroom and leave us with a lesson unlearned or can we collectively wake up to this fine balance between destruction and rebirth to respect Gaia and every aspect of her beauty? Can we all wake up to that wisdom (which means ACTION on our knowledge!!!) that we already have but have forgotten??? Personally – I think Gaia is an astounding teacher and does not relinquish her responsibilities easily. :-)

    • “Our goal needs to be to free the entire organism, one cell at a time.”
This requires an awakening of a specific magnitude regarding each individual cell.

      • Yes. The shear magnitude is overwhelming and most will rail at the notion. Reality is, it took us thousands of years to get here. That is not undone easily.

  3. I have to feel sorry for people who view this window of time in this one-sided way – they either didn’t live through it or they missed the boat (‘late for the sky’).

The personal ‘spiritual’ experiences I had during this time were the most treasured of my life to date. But to fully experience this gift, you had leave ‘normal’ and jump in with both feet.

Certainly there was a dark-side effort to contaminate and snuff out the incredible infusion of light that was taking place from the mid-sixties to the mid-seventies, but if your soul wanted light like a drowning man wants a breathe of air, this time was nothing short of miraculous.

I can remember seeing clearly in 1971 that the energy was splitting; the dark side wanting to take my generation into a hedonistic lifestyle of sex, drugs and rock and roll – and the light side energy wanting to manifest as the back to the land movement, meditation, creativity, connection and cooperation.

I was a little dismayed when I saw this window closing in the latter seventies and people around me returning to a self-conscious ‘normal’. As Jackson Brown wrote during that time… ‘I want to know what became of the changes we waited for love to bring; were they only the fitful dreams of some greater awakening?’

    ‘The Pretender’…

I’m going to rent myself a house
In the shade of the freeway
Going to pack my lunch in the morning
And go to work each day
And when the evening rolls around
I’ll go on home and lay my body down
And when the morning light comes streaming in
I’ll get up and do it again
    Amen
    Say it again
    Amen

I want to know what became of the changes
We waited for love to bring
Were they only the fitful dreams
    Of some greater awakening?
I’ve been aware of the time going by
They say in the end it’s the wink of an eye
And when the morning light comes streaming in
You’ll get up and do it again
    Amen

Caught between the longing for love
And the struggle for the legal tender
Where the sirens sing and the Church bells ring
And the junk man pounds his fender
Where the veterans dream of the fight
Fast asleep at the traffic light
    And the children solemnly wait
    For the icecream vendor
Out into the cool of the evening
    Strolls the pretender
He knows that all his hopes and dreams
    Begin and end there

Ah, the laughter as they run through the night
Leaving nothing but to choose off and fight
And tear at the world with all their might
While the ships bearing their dreams sail out of sight
I’m going to find myself a girl
Who can show me what laughter means
And we’ll fill in the missing colors
In each other’s paint by number dreams
And then we’ll put our dark glasses on
And we’ll make love until our strength is gone
And when the morning light comes streaming in
We’ll get up and do it again
    Get it up again

I’m going to be a happy idiot
And struggle for the legal tender
Where the ads take aim and lay their claim
To the heart and the soul of the spender
And believe in whatever may lie
In those things that money can buy
Though true love could have been a contender
    Are you there?
Say a prayer for the pretender
Who started out so young and strong
    Only to surrender

Say a prayer for the pretender

    • In the sixties the opportunity for a different direction was at hand, but the removal, decades earlier of an educational system that espoused grammar, logic and rhetoric, disallowed the effects of psychotropics, to be used for the purpose that they were meant. A mind that has been prepared via a trivium education can’t but flourish on entheogens.

    • I agree Gary. The light, joy and pure feeling of possible freedom were amazing to experience. The conspiracies and shutting down of the light had, IMHO, nothing to do with hippies and a lot more to do with the public executions of JFK, and then the back to back killings of MLK Jr. and RFK.
Still, that generation forced Johnson to not run for another term, ended the Vietnam War and a few years later got rid of Nixon and I’m sure those results were not in the CIA’s playbook.

  4. <>

That’s just part of the reason, in my opinion.

In the mid-to-late 1960s, our collective vibrational level was rapidly rising. This is evident in almost all art forms of the time, especially music. The drugs and darkness had to be brought in to squelch that awakening. And it sure as hell worked. By the time the 1970s were underway, peace and love had been largely foresaken, having been replaced by meaningless sex and damaging drugs. Music, movies, and other art became mostly negative and melancholy.

From TPTB perspective, our vibrational levels are rising to dangerous levels again, although popular art is too controlled for it to be evident there this time. I think it’s a sure bet that they’ll be pulling something out of their bag of tricks soon to address that “problem”.

  5. Sorry Zen but this pathetic recurring theory of CIA’s being behind the hippies and LSD is disinfo and misinfo unworthy of the garden. It is not proven by Jim Morrison or Charles Manson. The CIA and military and their puppet masters/paymasters were deathly afraid of the power of LSD to break the chain of command after review of US and UK military film footage of their troops on LSD leaving orderly ranks, laughing, and climbing trees to visit with nature. Obviously LSD caused empathy and conscious living, bad juju when the PTB wanted to bomb Laos and fill up 55,000 US coffins with the dregs of Ellsberg’s phony war.
Laurel Canyon was not the genesis of hippie culture even in Southern California. The Canyon was already controlled by zionists like Geffiend running the career of innocents like Jonnie Mitchell. You would find truer genesis of the hippies in the Nature Boys of LA or the experiences of Cary Grant than Jim Morrison and the military kids pushed out there by record cos. Before them, Germany’s Children of the Sun or the archaic world’s Road to Eleusis were the real hippie roots.
Not only was Morrison not a hippie, beatniks like Jack Kerouac never made the transition to hippies. Neal Cassidy continued to drive on speed when he was with the Pranksters on the Magic Bus. Be careful of whom you put up there as a hippie icon because so many were not even hippies. Purple haze (Claviceps purpurea the purple sclerota of ergot fungus) has a very long cultural history going back millenia to way before Jimmy Hendrix died on his own vomit from the non hippie drugs he was on.
Laurel Canyon was an obvious psyop attached to the hippie phenomenon to control it. Jim Morrison did not represent the hippies and LSD any more than Chomsky or Ellsberg represent dissent in America today. Charles Manson was no hippie, he was a lifelong jailbird agent provocateur whom Timothy Leary despised as a psycho when they eventually met in prison. Manson was put up there in the CIA media so that his scary face could be ingrained in the public subconscious as ‘LSD gone bad’.
Government infiltration was very evident in the late sixties’ demise of Haight Ashbury due to speed, crime, and violence, as Barry Miles documented in “Hippie”. Miles was in a position of firsthand experience, unlike the author of this kind of disinfo article. The regime banned LSD in California in October 1966. It did not distribute LSD which was done by Owsley, Sand, and the Brotherhood, all of them way outside CIA control. The hippie elders knew they were targeted for eradication and held the Death of the Hippie march in September 1967. Nixon declared Timothy Leary the world’s most dangerous man while bombing Laos and setting up Zahir Shah for a coup, the beginning of the clash of civilizations psyop in 1972. Nixon originally was the protege of Prescott Bush. Altamont close by the Livermore Nuclear Lab and its contaminated surroundings was the California finale to the death of the hippie movement, mugged by psychos on alcohol and speed who would attack people for insulting their motorcycles. In the nineties the Grateful Dead concert/ecstatic dance LSD distribution was targeted for attack which seems to have wiped out the last of the LSD subculture so it could be replaced by drunken Massholes who love Operation Gladio. Today these poor diverted darlins fully believe the regime story about children gunned down at Sandy Hoax and woe be to those who ask for evidence.
To say the CIA pushed LSD ignores history. They did all they could to put it back in a can after they got a taste of the Dream of Enkidu, one of earth’s oldest stories. Regimes cannot allow compassion or they eventually face self realization and the freeing of their slaves.
These silly articles slandering Hippies and Acid seem to be written by people who missed the core experience themselves and have no personal knowledge of the subject. Why give them a forum to push disinfo? I thought up to now you were sorta hippie, Zen, but of course I do not really know you.
The truth is there was a groundswell of interest in LSD during the sixties stoked by the volumes of research done before it was banned. Robert Kennedy asked in Congress, why, if LSD was so interesting to science before, it was being recast as scary by the people wanting to ban it?

I hope I have answered that question in this comment.

  6. This is horseshit Zen my boy…

If you weren’t there you don’t know what you are talking about…just like Mary says. And if you were there, you DIDN’T GET IT.
