Leave the Mind Behind
Thursday, January 3rd, 2013. Filed under: Consciousness
Albert Einstein also supposedly said this, so if he is a fake and fraud in science, perhaps he should have been a philosopher? This quote of his resonates with me, although I wonder if he really thought of it himself, or did he see it somewhere else and realized it made profound sense so ‘borrowed’ it for his own? I’m skeptical about Einstein…
“A human being is a part of this whole, called by us ‘Universe’, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest — a kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to apportion for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty”. — Albert Einstein
Mind is causal for all creation. Nothing exists in the material world that was not first developed in the mental world. You live in the divine thought of the One MIND. Rejecting Mind is suicide.
Those that would have you deny Mind would have you deny life and material existence. If you leave the mind behind you will become a slave to the mind of others.
Are you promoting slavery Zen?
Einstein was a JEW thief, and promoted nonsensical delusional bull shit. Of course he developed nothing from rational thought for he was incapable of reason. Thanks to ideologies promoted through people like him, the world has black hole theory (bull shit) and dark matter theory (bull shit) and Atomic energy plants (Man’s suicide) all around the globe.
I hope that you are better then this Zen.
Well, I have to agree with Phil. The problem might be that the English language and Western philosophies have so few words for ‘mind’. If you look to the East, you will find an absolute abundance of words for various states of mind and mental/spiritual experiences.
What I understood from this quote (Einstein seems to be very active with his quotes on the Net these days) is that his inspiration didn’t derive solely from extensions of logic and analysis.
Phil has one good eye (with a dark streak in it), and thinks he see the entirety. Has one functional ear and feels he hears the whole symphony. A critical case of myopia, and hearing loss.
love it!
Oh how true!
Einstein also said: “imagination is more important than knowledge”. Wise sayings, even if Einstein was a fraud.

Show me your mind.
See above. Or see below. For mind is all that is.

Phil your comment makes a head full of sense to me. Thanks
Hey, Phil— brother, you really need to meditate more. Gassho.
