What Are You Holding On To?

Tell me what actual benefit you receive from living the “normal” lifestyle –  a 2 hour commute to work each day, spending 8 hours in a corporate cubicle that removes your individuality and creativity,  to receive a paycheck from which the government has taken its huge and undeserved bite leaving almost enough to cover your bills and expenses –  just so that you can live in the kind of house and drive the kind of car that your friends and relatives think you should live in and be driving.

We all must admit that for some strange reason that we don’t really understand, we feel a profound sense of accomplishment when we get approved for a mortgage, get a new credit card, or get the “big promotion” at work. There is a scene in the movie Brazil, (a version of 1984), in which Michael Palin lifts his mask as he is about to begin torturing Jonathan Pryce and says glibly, “Confess quick – you don’t want to ruin your credit rating!”   We strive, we sacrifice health, family, and well-being for the opportunity to be a better slave.

The undisputed truth is that you have been conditioned to need your pain.  But when you come right down to it, all the aforementioned conditions involve your  humble, pleading, acquiescent and compliant servitude.  Huxley said that the ideal circumstance would be for the slave to be contented with his slavery (paraphrased) – and here you are.

I understand that there are those of you who truly love the system and would hate to see it go.  It’s not my intention to say you are wrong in your pursuit of happiness.  But if you find that you are not fulfilled by spending money you make from being employed by working in a cubicle (or any job you hate), then, really, what are you hanging onto – and why?

The system to which you are clinging is about to betray you.  One legal precedent the federal government uses to impose income taxes upon an individual is the concept known as “implied benefit”.  What this means is that even though you may have never used any of the plethora of benefits the local, state and federal governments offer you, they are there for you should you need it.  And whether you use them or not, there is the implied benefit that you could do so.  That concept is about to come crashing down on your head.   You need only look at hurricane Sandy (not to mention Katrina) to see what chaos it caused.  How many thousands of people are still suffering without power (because non-union workers are being turned away) and still without shelter, food or water (because the FEMA office is “closed due to weather”).  Where’s your implied benefit now???

Many people have chosen to leave the system behind and try to achieve the self-sufficient lifestyle.   Even amongst them, there are “varying levels of commitment”.   It seems that those called “preppers”  anticipate the need to be prepared for unforeseen catastrophes – war, earthquakes, bad weather, economic collapse, pole shift, planet X, et al – in the belief that somehow at the end of the tunnel everything will return to the way it was back in the 1950s, in an idyllic, red-white-and-blue America.
Personally, we are getting ready to shut everything down very soon, so I won’t mince words – in our opinion, there is virtually no hope for civilization as we know it today to recover from a total collapse in the span of a few years.  A few generations would be more like it.

A survivalist is preparing now to be self-sufficient as a permanent lifestyle, whereas a preppper tries to buy enough supplies to carry him or her over the hump, most of whom we have spoken with assuming 6 to 24 months will do it.  We don’t have to go back as far as Egypt and Typhon 3500 years ago to see how long it takes to recover from a collapse.  There is plenty of history to show us, including a thousand year period after the fall of the Roman Empire (commonly known as the Dark Ages) before the Renaissance came along and people were ready to learn new habits (like hygiene, reading and science).  Look up the collapse of the Argentine Peso in 1999 – still in chaos 13 years later with no real relief in sight.  So, in our view, if in the recent past we can document what a complete collapse looks like, then the belief that any American collapse scenario would involve getting back to “normal” any time soon after it, is not based on solid ground.

We strongly suggest, whether you are considering being a prepper, a survivalist or not sure what you want at this point, that at an absolute minimum you begin as a dedicated prepper.  Good preppers always have storage foods, supplies, a bug out bag and such.  That is a good place for anyone to start.  But look beyond that for your survival.  Social Security payments, welfare, food stamps, disability entitlements, pensions, etc., etc., can be swept out from under you in the blink of an eye, and you will find that you have been holding on to thin air, like that from which our current monetary system itself is created.

The only things you can truly hang on to are your own abilities, your own intuition, your own physical labor and enough self-love to know that you deserve to live a fulfilling, comfortable and secure life of your own choosing without harm to anyone else.  If you think that not everyone can do that, you’re right.  Only those who choose to do so, can.

  1. If you hold on to your sanity your blessed if you understand this diabolical situation your blessed if you understand who is doing this your blessed last if you understand and feel great courage and love god your truly blessed because your one of the few

      • It’s true of all of humanity, even the baddies who have yet to embrace the light? Will we all ascend to a higher dimension together as ONE, in love and light?

    • First, thank you for this message. I feel certain that you are right. But you’re (you are) not right about the spelling of you’re, meaning you are. “Your” is a possessive pronoun meaning ownership…… if that in any way matters to you, especially in the light of your (:-)) awesome message. I guess I feel that you should be gramatically correct. Susan. What in the world does the 2+. =5 represent?

  2. To be aware of chem trails and transhumanism, all of the horrible things that are being done to Earth and her kingdoms, while at the same time to believe the goal is to know our “eternal nature” is a Catch-22. So do I personally become a survivalist or do I trust in the goal being reached? While this whole nightmare unfolds, I’ll dance. Does that make me apathetic? No, it makes “the goal” more important, at least to me, than surviving on a planet that is only an experience. I’ll continue to do my bit by holding the energy that each and every person will get the opportunity to choose love while the play continues. Thanks, Zen, and all here for shedding light on the dichotomy. Love, A.

    • Wow, well said Altea. It really is a dichotomy in so many ways, if tri or quad etc. I think we need to be very pragmatic and spiritual at the same time, and they don’t contradict one bit. It’s about open honesty with yourself and your environment, and a lot more. We have to respond wisely as we go. I don’t go for the new age transcendency escape solution, it won’t be like that. The fact that it’s so parallel to the religious do-nothing teachings should be an alarm bell for any awake person. Yet at the same time there is a vibrational change we’re undergoing that is enhancing our nature. So I really don’t know. Wish I did. But actually, I’m at peace with my current understanding, as long as I stay active and awake and aware and doing what I can and keep open and learning, that’s integral to a conscious life I think.
–Make any sense? Love you – Z

      • Wonderfully said, Zen. Yes, there can be no denying that we are being upgraded vibrationally. To what end? My take on this is that once we “know”, truly “know” our “eternal nature”, then it really won’t matter where we are. With that knowing will come compassion, regardless of who is doing what to whom. And being at peace with your current understanding is indeed the secret. I like your three “A’s”, active, awake, and aware. Beauty! Love, A.

        • Yes. It appears to be gradual and for a good reason we can assume. The good stuff, that is. Affirmation of the right stuff is tantamount to the awakening. Not easy in this hostile environment. But do it we must, and with a good sense of humor. It’s so bad it’s laughable, sorry to say. Ha!

        • Thank you Altea and Zen, that’s exactly what I needed to hear. I recently arrived here from “there” meaning fear-based thoughts. Should I buy seeds, ammo, what about those FEMA camps, hollow point bullets, etc? It consumed me thanks to the ideas I listened to but it didn’t feel right, it wasn’t “me”. Everyone here takes me to a different way of seeing things. I am becoming more active, awake and aware each day with your help. Thanks to all the great souls who contribute to this site.

          • I love reading your comments to eachother. Its nice to see all the viewpoints.
Pisces, I feel like everyone here lifts me to a higher place as well.
This environment is full of all differnt kids of people will differnt ideas but we all repsect eachother and it enables me to see how it all fits together in the big picture.

  3. Prepping ideas used to plague me before i woke up. I was so worried about how we were going to stock up. When I awoke and realized that I had chosen to be here in this life, so broke we cant pay attention things changed.

If I cant afford it, I must not need it because everything happens for a reason, many reasons in fact. Synchronicity.

Im not saying I wont have any problems- theres just nothing I can do about it so I just have faith that things will be fine no matter what and I try not to fear it. Fear is what the PTB use, I use love. So whenever I read something that is used to scare me, I remind myself of synchronicity, faith and love.

So if there are others right now reading this stressing about how unprepared you are, remember that youre not alone.

Im not prepared in that way either but I am so ready to handle anything. The real power is in us and cant be bought ahead of time and stored in a cellar.

  4. Over-prepping comes from Fear. I would rather have nothing than four years’ supply of food in my house. Paradoxically, those who do the most prepping may end up in the weakest positions.

    • I totally agree with you Indigoviolet.

Those who have all the supplies, the best location and the most suitable housing could be in for an awakening. Be prepared for anything to happen. The changes ahead are unknown to humanity and we will probably experience things that have not happened in this universe for many millennium. If you are in tune with your intuition you will know when and where to go.

Over Prepping and the stress that comes with it is useless and wastes good energy.

The majority of Humanity will not let go of what they have and most likely will loose everything including their life. There is always the next incarnation to expand on their experiences.

      • No Steve, I will not nor ever have run to anybody for food. If you are in tune with yourself and this universe you will have all the nourishment you need. It literally will fall into your lap when needed.

I have enough food to sustain us for about six months-water 5-7 days. I’m f— if s— hits the fan and I am still in my house in the Chicagoland area with over 8 million residents. You may have only minutes to vacate your property with only your life in hand. My gut feeling tells me that what I have is not for me, but is for someone scavenging what I left behind, which could be you.
If someone comes to me and is starving and needs food I will give them some of mine, will you? A lot of preppers I know are Greedy and it is going to bite their arse in the end.
Arse in the End= how redundant.- HaHa.

        • I feel like it will literally fall in our laps too.
I heard somewhere recently that you can have Faith or Fear in your heart but you cant have them both. I think we all know which one we should eradicate and which one to embrace.

  5. Prepping, survival is all ego’s attempt to preserve the human form. If awake and aware maybe it’s a good idea to stick around. It’s WHY you are doing it that counts. Maybe this world needs a few to help others with discovering who they are and their true purpose here. Good enough reason forme to stick around.

  6. I consider myself a Spiritual Prepper. Physical bodies come and go, but our Spirit and Soul remains as our legacy to both the past and future. I do my best to live in the now. Continually, I ask God to teach me the truth every day, and I ask Him to teach me how to listen for his voice. The confusion and chaos is accelerating now, and the best thing is to remain calm and centered. Just don’t be fooled by angels of darkness disguised as angels of light.
