Once upon a time at work, we’d get a monthly newsletter. I was looking through it with a fellow Co worker who pointed to a picture of the building we were in saying, “look! that’s where we are now!” I said “yeah.” Then flipping to the next page,was a picture of planet Earth and I said, “look! we’re on that planet right now! ” He then looked at me and said, “aw …that’s just too deep!” I just didn’t know what to say. I sighed and walked away.
Your not alone! While at work the other day a co-worker asked me why i’m always so happy and I told her its because I wake up and think hmmm…I have a roof over my head, my health, some food in the fridge, clothes on my back and the world as my playground. She laughed and said now your just taking it too far. I find that to be another sign of how much the general population denies itself of personal growth and happiness, like seriously the world needs to get their heads out of their asses so we can all create a better world for ourselves
Wisdom is the extent to which we understand that which is beyond ourselves, and our place within it.
